how it started

Our story

How did I get here? There was a time in my life when I needed make a change and get healthy. That change sparked a passion for fitness and a desire to help others. After 25 years in the Navy, I decided to take what I’ve learned and help Huntsville and the surrounding communities. We offer a unique fitness experience at the location of your choosing. Our team of certified personal trainers offer individual and group sessions. We provide all the necessary commercial-grade equipment and instructions to help you reach your goal.

How it's going

The word is spreading! With years of my own strength and running programming, I was often asked to help others reach their goals. I noticed after just a short time that helping them gave me more satisfaction than I had ever imagined. I started officially taking clients in 2018, specializing in weight loss, body composition, and athletic performance. I’ve since found my passion in inspiring people to reach for bigger goals than they would have previously thought possible. More than anything, I just want my clients to realize that as long as they keep pushing, there is no ceiling! 

We’ve removed all the hurdles to provide the best way to work out. Exercise on your schedule at a location that’s convenient for you. We’re currently helping so many in the Huntsville community reach their fitness goals!

I've been working with them for a bit over a year, mainly focusing on OCR (Obstacle Course Racing) training. During that time I've had highs and lows, and through it all, Matthew has been there to coach me through it. Whether it's training for specific races, or finding different ways to work on my weaknesses, I feel like we've touched on it all through our time. If a race doesn't go as planned, we use it as a building block to make a better plan or tweak the current one, shake it off, and work towards the next race. I'm not the fastest, strongest, or best at obstacles, but I'm working on it with some great programming and amazing people on my side.

If you’re looking for a workout program that you will never quit, this is the one! I’m not very well versed in the workout world so working out, and the thought of going to the gym or a class, has always been very daunting for me. This program has been completely scalable to me, my life, and my preferences which makes it so easy to stay consistent with. I did these workouts through an entire pregnancy, postpartum, and now today I can say that I feel STRONG. For the first time in my life, I’m less concerned about my workouts helping me be skinny, and more concerned about feeling physically AND mentally strong.

As a veteran in the fitness arena, I have worked with many trainers. I have found that while the intention was good, most of my plans did not suit me and my particular needs. I had great programs designed for niche bodybuilders, and I wound up with more problems to correct than I began with. Matthew provided the specific attention and actually took all of my concerns into consideration, creating a firm but always malleable program that keeps me progressing forward and seeing results. Each week is a tailored fit to my current state of performance and adjusted incrementally to make sure I get exactly what I need. They are a solid, supportive fitness family. I'm confident on the field and in the gym with Matthew at the drawing board!
